Kete Rotorua
DO YOU take photos of local events and developments such as Christmas parades, the Lake Road four laning project, and Kapa Haka festivals on your camera, cellphone or video camera? Want to know how to share and preserve these?
Rotorua District Library staff can help! Kete is here for you and us to upload images, video clips, audio sound bytes, posters, newsletters, local stories, memories and much more...
Help us help you to record Rotorua's future heritage.
Kete Rotorua is a digital library of arts, cultural and heritage resources. Registered users join this Kete community to contribute and share information. The Kete is created by the community and moderated and maintained by Rotorua District Library.
We want you to get your personal papers and photographs out from under your beds and join with us to provide this record for future generations. We also want a place where our artists can showcase their work online as well as in Toi Tangata ; a place where we can celebrate who we are and how we live through photographs, video and audio footage and stories.
