Highlights of 2015

January Flights of Fiction 
February Author Gertude Matshe visited and led a Writer's Workshop
March We celebrated "Neighbours Day" by hosting a morning tea for workers in 'our library neighbourhood' 
April We launched our 125th Year Anniversary DVD "A passion for books" filmed by Kerry Fowler
May Author Robby Robilliard visited for her book launch "Hard country: a Golden Bay life"
June Our new Library Computer system Kotui arrived and the Rotorua Mad Poets posthumously launched a new book by John Bayley "I think therefore I rhyme"
July We celebrated Matariki with some great events: The Matariki Fashion Show, Matariki Poster design competition, Matariki Kite Making.
August The winners of the Matariki Poster competition were announced and they received their prizes from Mayor Steve Chadwick.
September Local artist Jill Walker has had an enthusiastic response to her paper tulip making workshops. 
October Local lady, Leanne Mulcahy spoke about her new book, "Notes to Self: On Style, Confidence and Loving Your Body" on Thursday 8th 
November  ROTORUA RETROtwo was launched at the library on Friday 13th November.
