January | Our 'Legendary Summer Reading Programme' was a great success with many children enjoying the extra shows and guest stars at the Sir Howard Morrison Performing Arts Centre. |

An exciting year-long reading programme for children and teens in Rotorua. ‘Read On’ started in February and aims to get Rotorua’s young people stretching their reading muscles in 2016. |
March | NZ Author Julie Thomas visited our library to launch her new book, and we got our 1st Read On Ambassador, Lizzy Marvelly. |
April | Local Reade Nikora joined Lizzy Marvelly as a Read On Ambassador and our Roald Dahl Holiday Programme was a hit. |
May | Our first video ever of Library Staff from the Heritage Area made it to Facebook! as did our Running Man! |
