Topic: In Memory of those NZers who died 1943-1945 in New Caledonia

Topic type:

By David Daniel

Attended the 70th Anniversary Commemorative visit to Noumea & Bourail, New Caledonia.

84 OF US WENT THERE, NOBODY FELL OVER, AND 84 CAME BACK.!

IT WAS A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE EVEN WITH THE PATHOS OF OUR REMEMBRANCES.

THE DEPTH OF CARE BY THE DIVERSE LOT OF CARERS, ARMY, NAVY, AIRFORCE, ALL RANKS

THE VETERANS AFFAIRS STAFF , - CREATED THIS CAMARADERIE, AND CONSIDERING THREE

GENERATIONS WERE INVOLVED, SHOWS WHAT A CARING SOCIETY NEW ZEALAND IS.
