Well known NZ Store on Tutanekai Street

Advertisement for Smith & Brown's 1964 

was at 324 Tutanekai Street. Provided : Furniture, Furnishings, Floor Coverings, Home Appliances and More...

Smith and Brown take over McDowell and Co/Rotorua Furnishing Co. which had been established in 1911.

Added another shop on the Corner of Hinemoa & Amohia Streets by 1964 (now Sheila Turner Picture Framers?), by 1976 there was another store 'Smith, Brown & Maple' on the corner of Eruera & Hinemoa Streets.
