Had a great time with the sfaff and some of their family members. A first time for some of the staff however it was my 4th time attending this great fundraiser. Lots of noise, activities and entertainment to be enjoyed by everyone. Awesome support throughout the community in participation of a worth while event. The staff thoroughly enjoyed themselves and got to rub shoulders with celebrities: Tofiga Fepulea'I (Comedian - Laughing Samoans), Glen Osbourne (All Blacks, Maori TV presenter - Code), David Fane (Flava radio broadcaster / actor / comedian), Wairangi Koopu (NZ Warriors - 2nd Row). It just so happen they were in Rotorua doing a show at the Convention Centre, so they came down to the relay to do a few laps around the field and a photo opportunity for the staff!! The highlight of the weekend would be the candlelight ceremony to commemorate whanau who have passed on and whanau who have survived and continue to strive for each day.
