Owner/Managing director of the Daily Post, involved from 1931 with the daily newspaper which was named 'Rotorua Chronicle', and edited at that time by Mr Lawson Ashton. Later it became 'Rotorua Morning Post', then in 1964 when this photograph was published it was named "Daily Post"
