Opened on the site of the old Lyric Theatre in August 1967, owned by J.F. Finn & Son, this building now houses a Designer Direct Perfume & Sunglasses Shop, Charity's (closed 2014) on Tutanekai Street and upstairs 'The Clothing Clinic' and on Pukuatua Street side of the building is 'Cash Converters'.
The number 304 is still on the building even though the street numbering has changed to 1220 Tutanekai Street.
Tenants of this building were : Stockwells Chemist, Peter Maxwell Shoes, 304 Fashion, Balcony Lounge (Cafe owned at one time by Ian McPherson ).
