Rotorua resident Kahira Rata Olley is set to run 250kms from Rotorua to Flaxmere Hastings to raise awareness on domestic violence and sexual abuse.

Domestic and sexual abuse survivor Kahira Rata Olley is sharing her story of survival with the country as she puts her mind and body on the line to raise awareness for child sexual abuse and domestic violence. Starting at 7am on Wednesday the 25th of November (White ribbon day) she will be leaving from Puketawhero park following Karakia taken by Tukiterangi Curtis, running a total of 250kms from Rotorua to Flaxmere park in Flaxmere, Hastings to shed light on these issues, and promote awareness.
